Discover the best events and make the most of your time next 30-days in Spicewood. From art to environment and more, we have the biggest event range and best discovery experience, there's something for everyone.

Residents and well owners in Spicewood and the surrounding communities are invited to join a public meeting to learn about new research on the Trinity Aquifer in southern Burnet County and how to participate in the study. Researchers will share findings from earlier phases of the project focused on Krause Springs and the Little Cypress Creek watershed, including new insights into how groundwater and surface water interact and the recharge areas that help sustain local springs and creeks. The meeting will also introduce the next phase of research, which aims to better understand groundwater movement through the Sycamore layer of the Trinity Aquifer near Spicewood. Local well owners are especially encouraged to attend. Coffee, water, and light refreshments will be provided.
