Advanced Burn Life Support (ABLS) provides knowledge for immediate care of the burn patient up to the first 24 hours post-injury. ABLS programs also support emergency and mass casualty preparedness focusing on triage, burn survivability, patient transportation, and patient treatment.
This is a comprehensive 5-day training event for medical providers practicing trauma care in austere or resource-limited settings. The event includes the Fundamental Critical Care Support-Resource Limited Course on the first 2 days. Target audience: Physicians, residents, nurses, advanced practice providers, physician assistants, special operations and respiratory therapists.
