Hosted at Pruitt Library, the event features a citywide community clean-up, workshops, eco-art, hands-on creative activities, youth eco hip-hop live performances, and a sustainable thrift fashion showcase. This event is a model for neighborhood-led sustainability, youth empowerment, and cultural resistance.

This film highlights the lived realities of environmental injustice, the resilience of our communities, and the power of grassroots leadership to create change. Harrington Water Treatment Plant and see how Metro Water Services provides over 200,000 customers with clean, safe drinking water every day. During the walking tour of the treatment plant, you will learn about drinking water treatment processes and what Metro Water Services is doing to stay ahead of the curve as Nashville grows.
Join us for a FREE, leisurely, accessible Nature Tour in Centennial Park led by a professional Naturalist! This in-person event will be led by Metro Parks Naturalist Jessa Tremblay. We meet outside the Parthenon Museum entrance on the East side of the building facing Lake Watauga. Tours will take place at 11:30 and 12:15, with 20 spaces available for each. Celebrate the flora and fauna in Centennial Park with a seasoned guide familiar with the natural creatures and features of the park. Don't miss this opportunity to connect with Nashville's premeire urban naturescape and fellow park enthusiasts for this seasonally offered tour!
Join us for a tour of Whites Creek Water Reclamation Facility. All attendees must be 16+. Please note: Registration is REQUIRED. Tours are for adults, 16+ years and older. Please contact the organizer to schedule a tour for school-aged children. Tours are rain or shine. For security reasons, we DO NOT permit photos inside of the facility gates or on the tour at any time. Cell phones and bags must remain in personal vehicles during the tour. For safety reasons, we require you to wear closed, flat shoes on the tour.
