Health Events in Columbia

This in-person Breastfeeding Class class is designed to be an interactive learning session to teach you what to expect. This class is for expected mothers and their support person that provides information about breastfeeding. This includes: the benefits of breastfeeding, how to prepare to breastfeed, latch and positioning, as well as guidance about how to tell if an infant is feeding well. We will also discuss how to avoid common problems related to breastfeeding, how to choose the correct breast pump and returning to work.
