Noire Social Club is looking for volunteers to help in the Beer Garden at San Diego Beach and Bay Half Marathon. Noire Social Club is a group for black women in their 30s who are looking for connection and genuine friendship. We are looking for new friends who would like to volunteer with us in the Beer Garden at the San Diego Beach and Bay! We will be checking IDs, directing Runners to pick up their medals, and serving beer. We will also be responsible for keeping the area clean. If you have been looking for an opportunity to connect with like-minded women or be more involved in the community, we would be happy to have you volunteer with us! It is highly encouraged to make it to check in on time so that you can participate in training. There will be snacks, and we are going to be in a shaded area. I hope that we get to see you there!
Join us at the 4th BSCC Be the Light Charity Event for a fun, feel-good day of giving back in person! This meaningful event is focused on raising funds to assist survivors of human trafficking and to strengthen prevention efforts throughout our region. The Bilateral Safety Corridor Coalition works tirelessly to combat exploitation through victim assistance, community education, professional training, and cross-border collaboration. The funds raised will directly support safe housing referrals, case management, counseling services, emergency support, and long-term recovery programs for survivors. The evening will bring together advocates, community leaders, and supporters who share a commitment to protecting vulnerable individuals and defending human dignity. Beyond fundraising, the event will also serve as an opportunity to increase awareness about the realities of human trafficking and the importance of coordinated community action. By participating on April 23, attendees will stand in solidarity with survivors and contribute to meaningful, life-changing work. Together, we can help restore hope, rebuild lives, and strengthen the fight against human trafficking in our community.
