Find the best spirituality events and make the most of your time in Philadelphia. From music to trivia and more, we have the biggest event range and best discovery experience, there's something for everyone.
Join us for a Kirtan, a sacred call-and-response singalong, with international touring artist Jordan Loder, who guides a unique and genuinely moving experience with a focus on forgiveness, gratitude, and lovingkindness. Together, we will chant, sway, laugh, maybe cry, and feel interpersonal and universal connectedness. Compassionate invocations gently open the heart. Rhythmic waves of voices uplift and unify. Tender moments of silence invite you to rest in your own essence, where separation dissolves and the ever-present Self is revealed. We balance going deep within the heart, and a lighthearted and authentic approach, which makes this offering accessible to both newbies and lifelong devotees. We will pray for those who have ascended this world, those yet to come, our Mother Earth, our inner child, our ancestors, and one another. The music incorporates Buddhist and Sanskrit mantras with personal stories from a decade touring alongside masters like Snatam Kaur, Deva Premal & Miten, Ajeet, Simrit, GuruGanesha and more. It also reflects Jordan's time living at Arunachala, his long connection to Kripalu, and lighthearted insights from the spiritual path.

When greed, hatred, and delusion fracture the world through political divisions, multiple concurrent injustices, and the weight of a changing climate, compassion can feel out of reach, or even naive. And yet many of us are also carrying personal pain, loss, illness, grief, and the quiet struggles of daily life. This daylong retreat invites practitioners of all experience levels to turn toward what's hard, within and around us, together. Through meditation, dharma teachings, and periods of reflection, we'll explore compassion. All are welcome, exactly as they are.
