Based on the classic, unforgettable movie of the same name, Miracle on 34th Street features a book and score by Meredith Wilson, the author of The Music Man! Doris Walker, a single mother who works at Macys, does not want her six-year-old daughter Susan to fill her head with romantic notions. Their neighbor, Fred, is falling for Doris, so he tries to woo her by taking Susan to see Santa Claus at Macys. But this Kris Kringle may in fact be the real deal. This joyous, heartwarming musical is pure wholesome family entertainment, showcasing "Pinecones and Hollyberries," "It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas," "My State, My Kansas," and many other beloved songs.
