Book Reading with Sufi Mystic Pir Zia Inayat Khan. Offered in collaboration with Shaykha Fariha and the Nur Ashki Jerrahi Community. Tears from the Mother of the Sun. Following a reading, Humera Afridi will set the stage for a conversation about the book, the relationship between art and spirituality, Divine play, and magic, mysticism, and alchemy on the Sufi path. The evening will conclude with a short meditation, welcoming guidance from the illuminated souls called upon in the book. All are welcome. Books: Tears from the Mother of the Sun. Guests can bring their book to be signed or reserve a signed copy to pick up upon arrival. A limited number of copies will be available at the event, as supplies last.

Aligning with the Illuminated, w/ Pir Zia Inayat Khan & Shaykha Fariha, a special collaboration between mystic scholar Pir Zia Inayat Khan and spiritual guide Shaykha Fariha. This event will connect us with the Diwan, or High Council, consisting of illuminated souls who guide us towards divinity. The event will include teachings, tea and refreshments, and a group dhikr. Free and public book reading and conversation on Friday.
