Desi Comedy Fest, one of North America's biggest South Asian comedy festivals, brings its East Coast Edition to NYC with a special show at The Bell House. Featuring over 200 comedians from around the world, including artists seen on Netflix, HBO, Amazon, and Comedy Central, this event promises a sharp mix of voices, styles, and stories rooted in the wit and cultural mashup that make South Asian comedy one of the most exciting corners of stand-up today. Doors open at 6:30pm (front bar opens at 5:30pm), and the show starts at 7:30pm. Attendees must be 21 and over with a valid, government-issued photo ID. Join us at the New York Sign Museum for a tour of our collection located within Noble Signs' manufacturing shop! We are conveniently located a couple of blocks from the Broadway Junction A/C/J/L subway stop and across the street from the LIRR East New York stop. The New York Sign Museum is a registered nonprofit organization with the mission of preserving historic signage from around the New York metropolitan area. The museum collection includes over 40 full-scale rescued storefront signs and dozens of other small pieces and ephemera. See the collection and an active sign shop where signs are still made the old-fashioned way, situated in an amazing one-of-a-kind prewar factory space with original details including glass block walls, art deco tin ceilings, stained glass dividers, and a functioning dumbwaiter.
