Find the best spirituality events and make the most of your time this weekend in Brooklyn. From music to science and more, we have the biggest event range and best discovery experience, there's something for everyone.
Join us in Deanery B11 to share stories and vibes about living out our faith every day! 'Reconnect, Renew and Grow closer to God! This is your Invitation to encounter Christ!'

Guided by the wisdom of Alexis Pauline Gumbs (Undrowned) and Audre Lorde (Uses of the Erotic), this session invites us to listen “beyond the normative ability to hear”—honoring the spiritual, emotional, and relational dimensions of our lives. Drawing on Lorde’s understanding of the erotic as a powerful life force and tool for social change, we will root into deeper ways of knowing and feeling. Together, we’ll explore our relationship to becoming, inspired by Norma Wong’s 'Who We Are Becoming Matters'. We will create space to rest, breathe, remember, and journal—reconnecting with a deeper sense of purpose. Through body–mind centering practices, we’ll work with breath as a vessel for aliveness, engage in collective readings, and deepen into embodied reflection. This is an invitation to practice living into our truths with courage, and to inquire into how we are evolving—with intention. This trauma-informed workshop welcomes all bodies, by donation (all proceeds will go to Palestinian Children Relief Fund and is facilitated by Amélie Gaulier.

At Surya Sound Temple, the Deep Meditation Experience is a 60-minute immersive session designed for deep relaxation, inner reset, and sound-vibrational healing. It blends live soundscapes, guided meditation, and subtle movement or stillness ; all in a small-group, intimate setting. Upon arrival you’ll be welcomed into our studio and invited to lie down or recline; soft lighting, cushions, blankets, and treated with respect for silence and presence. The session is guided by Siddhartha J. Mehta to perfom live sound instruments and texture: expect resonant tones from instruments like the gong, tabla, santoor, khartal, sarod. etc.. **Who this is for** Anyone seeking a deep relax & reset — good for busy minds, overworked bodies, anyone craving calm and neural rest. Fans of sound-healing, ambient and instrumental meditation. People comfortable lying/sitting silently for 60 minutes in a dim, quiet space, and willing to engage in a contemplative atmosphere. **Good to know / tips** Arrive on time — late entry may disturb the sound field and group energy. Wear comfortable clothes you can relax in. Bringing a mat, cushion, blanket is a good idea if you like extra comfort. Silence mobile devices; the room is intersection of sound + stillness.
