Come to this educational program to remove the confusion surrounding Medicare! Whether you already are on Medicare or will be in the next year or so, this program will give you a grasp of the different parts of Medicare (A, B, C,D), what you can expect to pay for each part, the difference between Original Medicare and supplemental/advantage plans and how to avoid Medicare scams. Bring your friends and your questions as Sandra will hold a question/answer segment after her presentation.

This conference is intentionally designed to center the voices of individuals with lived justice involvement alongside the professionals and organizations that serve them. It focuses on common barriers faced by justice-impacted individuals, regional solutions, and collaborative, strengths-based approaches.

NYSED is pleased to announce the Early Learning Institute 2026 on July 16, 2026, at the NYS Cultural Education Center. This free one-day session will be open to teachers, specialists, and administrators responsible for designing programs for students along the P-3 Continuum. Session topics will support educators in creating a learning environment that reflects developmentally, culturally, and linguistically appropriate practices and instruction. The event will include literacy, the Portrait of a Graduate, and other early learning topics.
