We are excited to host story time on the farm featuring one of our favorite books. Scout's Rainy Day by Natalie Horseman. We will read, learn about goats and farm life, and participate in a farm themed craft. Natalie writes fun, engaging children's books with a farm theme. She is best known for her Goat on the Go series, and her book The Bumpy Pumpkin, all about self-acceptance and being different :) What to expect: Scheduled feeding time for the chickens, ducks, and goose. You can bring your own treats, or we will have some you can use. Then we will read Scout's Rainy Day A copy of the book is not included in cost of event. But signed copies will be sold separately Goat and Sheep cuddle area. They may even lay in your lap :) Amanda will answer farm related questions and teach about farm life Farm themed crafts will be set up for kids to participate in as well.
