Evening to Shine

Durham Public Schools (DPS) and the Durham Public Schools Foundation will be co-hosting An Evening to Shine, formerly known as An Evening of Entertainment, on February 24, 2026, at DPAC to showcase our district?s performing arts students and successes and raise money for college scholarships. As in years past, hundreds of choral and dance students representing all of the district?s schools will perform. Proceeds from An Evening to Shine support the Durham Promise Scholarship Fund, a community-funded scholarship program administered by DPS Foundation. The Fund operates based on the belief that every DPS student deserves an equitable, debt-free college education.

10th Annual Charity All Black Affair

We are back to do it bigger than last year. Over three hundred grown and sexy people packed the house. Let's do it again for our tenth year. This classy event is meant to bring the grown and sexy crowd together for a really good time while raising funds for a worthy cause! Each year this party grows in popularity and attendees. A portion of the proceeds are reserved for charitable causes. We are expecting a great turnout! You have the option of purchasing a table for eight or individual tickets. Get yours before they are all gone. We will see you there for an amazing night of fun, photos, memories, and dancing!
