Education Events in Wilton

Learn ATV & snowmobile safety before hitting the trails this year! Event lasts approximately 7 hours. In this course you will learn how to properly operate and maintain an ATV & Snowmobile. During the course we will review laws, responsibilities and personal safety. You must attend the full program and pass a final exam to receive your certificate. Topics Covered: Preparing to ride your ATV/Snowmobile, Basic Riding Skills, Emergencies & Survival, Map & Compass, Self Help/First Aid, Environmental concerns, Landowner Relations and Ethics. This is a classroom style course and does not provide a riding component as part of training. A final exam will be administered consisting of information covered in the course. Students under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
