Celebrate the release of Boston-based singer-songwriter Mark Erelli's new album Spring Green at Arrow Street Arts. Erelli, a veteran of the folk and roots music scene, is known for his emotional honesty, craftsmanship, and warmth. He gained recognition in 1999 with the Kerrville New Folk Award and has since collaborated with notable artists on his anti-gun violence song By Degrees. His latest album, Spring Green, is his most cohesive and emotionally resonant work. Award-winning artist Liv Greene opens the show, recognized for her precise intonation, witty songwriting, and exceptional guitar skills.

Participants will build prototypes using modular design and quick-release mechanisms to learn about the design thinking process and to develop problem-solving and teamwork skills. This program is intended for girls ages 13-17.

Go spelunking with our expert cheesemongers and explore the science and secrets that are hidden in our caves. The chilly stone caves beneath our Cambridge store hold hundreds of pounds of cheese, from 80-pound wheels of Comté to delicate-rinded blues to small logs of Belgian goat’s milk cheese. You’ll head underground to view and discuss the crucial role these temperature- and humidity-controlled rooms play in cheese aging, storage, and maintenance, and complete the lesson by tasting a few examples of what you’ve learned.
