During this workshop, attendees will get their hands dirty making a Kokedama (Japanese for moss ball)! We take a plant and show you the easiest and most secure way to wrap the root ball in moss. The end result is a living piece of sculpture that can be displayed on a table, desk or hung in front of a window. You'll also have your choice of a fun metal plant tag. The effect is very cool and plants love it because their roots can breathe. Our expert gardener will guide you through every step, providing tips and insight on how to care for the plants to help them thrive. Come get your hands dirty and smell the forest (this is what wet moss smells like)! We use a variety of easy-care plants from ferns to snake plants, depending on what's available in the store.
