Finding Strength in the Lord: Emotional Resilience is a 10-week, Christ-centered course sponsored by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. It is part of the Church's larger self-reliance initiative and is designed to help individuals develop spiritual and practical coping skills for life's challenges. The 10-week curriculum teaches gospel principles alongside practical skills for emotional well-being. The central theme is relying on the Savior, Jesus Christ, to navigate difficulties. Topics include: Building emotional resilience with faith in Jesus Christ, Developing healthy thinking patterns, Managing stress and anxiety, Understanding sadness and depression, Overcoming anger, Managing addictive behaviors, Building healthy relationships and communication skills, and Providing strength to others through service.

You'll learn how prose poems function as a unique way to train and examine attention itself, drawing focus to the subtle workings of consciousness, perception, and connection.
Join us in Coeur d'Alene for a 2-day workshop themed Public Lands Collaboration: Building on Success and Addressing the Gaps. Currently enrolled undergraduate and graduate students are encouraged to attend and are offered complimentary registration. Scholarships are also available to cover students' travel costs to the event.
