He has appeared on major shows like The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon and The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, and has written for The Late Late Show with James Corden and NPR's Wait Wait...Don't Tell Me!. Fumi has opened for notable comedians such as Ronny Chieng, Ilana Glazer, and Iliza Shlesinger.
