Let’s have some fun with Ikebana and make a unique miniature DRIED Japanese floral arrangement. In this workshop, you will learn how to make a miniature Ikebana arrangement that expresses simplicity, seasonality, movement and harmony, which are all important qualities of Ikebana. Ikebana, is a national Japanese treasure, which is over 500 years old. You will also learn about the history of Ikebana and the traditional tools used for creating Ikebana arrangements. All Dried floral materials and a miniature ceramic vase will be provided. Please bring branch cutters and/or scissors to use in this class.
Acrylic Painting for all Levels by Joe Yakovetic. Bring your own art supplies to work under the instruction of award-winning artist Joseph Yakovetic, known as the 'Painter of Shadows'.
