Preschool Aquatics Level 1 aims to familiarize children approximately 4 and 5 years old to the aquatic environment and help them acquire rudimentary basic aquatic skills.
The Cuban Research Institute presents the 15th Conference on Cuban and Cuban American Studies, dedicated to Humberto Calzada. Scholars and interested individuals will explore Cuba and its diaspora, focusing on the island's history, economy, politics, and culture. Discussions will address Cuba's future, including government, constitution, economic models, and international relations. Panels and papers will offer insights into the reconstruction of the Cuban nation.
A hands-on architecture lab developed for children from Kindergarten to 12th Grade. KAP Dream House Studio is an exceptional hands-on architecture workshop that begins with an inspiring introduction to what architecture is. Students will design and build a three-dimensional model of a dream home under expert guidance, learning scale, proportion, and spatial planning in a way that feels immediate, creative, and deeply intelligent. The experience concludes with a brief studio-style presentation in which each student shares their design intent and leaves with a finished model and a new architectural lens for seeing the built world.

Preschool Aquatics aims to familiarize children approximately 4 and 5 years old with the aquatic environment and help them acquire basic aquatic skills. It also helps participants develop positive attitudes and safe practices in and around water. No skill prerequisites are required, and children should be approximately 4 years old or older. The City of Miami Learn-To-Swim classes are $45 and are not free. After acquiring a class ticket from Eventbrite, the parent or immediate family member (18 years or older) must come in person to the Shenandoah Pool with either a picture or copy of the Eventbrite ticket to finish the registration process and pay for the class via cash or credit card. Payment is due by Friday, February 27th, 2026, before 12:00pm.
