For this year’s Month of Printmaking exhibition, Access Gallery revisits a beloved program: Arts For All. Arts For All uses adaptive art tools designed to ensure that people with limited fine motor skills can fully participate in the creative process. These tools are built for all abilities, inviting disabled and nondisabled participants to create side by side. The printing process is simple, but the results are anything but-layered with movement, color, and collective expression. On January 29, the gallery transformed into a giant print making studio for Access Gallery artists Mikelle and Stevie. What followed was an explosion of color, movement, and laughter. The result is a monumental collaborative print measuring 20’ × 12’ that captures the joy and freedom of making art together. Join us on March 20. For a $10 donation, choose your own section of the collaborative print—we’ll cut it from the original artwork for you to keep and frame.
