Find the best environment events and make the most of your time in Shingle Springs. From sports to spirituality and more, we have the biggest event range and best discovery experience, there's something for everyone.
Imagine damaged landscapes coming back to life from the soil up — starting underground and growing through our communities. Nature already knows how to restore balance. Beneath our feet, plants and soil microbes form intricate partnerships that detoxify polluted soil, rebuild biodiversity, and regenerate living systems. As we look for solutions to environmental challenges, many scientists and educators are realizing that the answers are often already present in the natural world. The opportunity is learning how to observe these systems and redesign our own practices around them. At the same time, grassroots advocates are mobilizing communities across California to protect native plants and open spaces. El Dorado Chapter of the California Native Plant Society, International keynote speaker and two-time TEDx presenter Renee Murphy, botanist and digital creator Jessie Dickson, SacramentoFoodForest, Together they connect restoration science with real-world action, showing how protecting biodiversity begins both underground and in our communities. Come ready to learn. Leave ready to grow the change. The event is free and open to the public. A $5 donation at the event would be appreciated to help cover costs.
