Uncorked: San Diego is back for its 11th year, and we are headed back to the Embarcadero for another party at the park! Join us Saturday April 11th for the everyone's favorite wine fest at Marina Park North. Sip & swirl over 150 wines & bubblies from across the globe. Plus savor 'outside the bottle'options like spirits and canned cocktails, and some incredible zero proof wines and mocktails too. Head over to our lawn game lounge to enjoy fun party games. Nosh on delicious bites from fave local food trucks. Dance the afternoon away to a perfectly curated mix of live music by our DJs. Say 'cheese' with your friends at our fun installations (and so much more!) There are two ticket types for this event. Early admission ($85) is at 1pm and includes 4 full hours of tasting with a smaller capacity plus some exclusive bonus wines being poured during that first hour. General admission ($70) is at 2pm and the event ends at 5pm. Both ticket types include all your tasting with food sold separately. Noire Social Club is looking for volunteers to help in the Beer Garden at San Diego Beach and Bay Half Marathon. Noire Social Club is a group for black women in their 30s who are looking for connection and genuine friendship. We are looking for new friends who would like to volunteer with us in the Beer Garden at the San Diego Beach and Bay! We will be checking IDs, directing Runners to pick up their medals, and serving beer. We will also be responsible for keeping the area clean. If you have been looking for an opportunity to connect with like-minded women or be more involved in the community, we would be happy to have you volunteer with us! It is highly encouraged to make it to check in on time so that you can participate in training. There will be snacks, and we are going to be in a shaded area. I hope that we get to see you there!

Join African American Writers & Artists for an inspiring afternoon celebrating the creativity of youth artists. The 2026 Black History Month Art Contest Awards & Recognition Ceremony is part of the 100th anniversary of Negro History Week. Guests will enjoy art viewing, awards presentation, certificates of participation, and gifts for participating artists. The event is on April 11 from 3–5 PM at the Malcolm X Library.
