One of our favourite artists ever join us for a very special free entry rooftop party as we welcome Space Dimension Controller back to Leeds! Space Dimension Controller (Jack Hamill) has crafted some of the most enduring electronic music of the past decade. Across releases on R&S, Ninja Tune, Clone Royal Oak, Dekmantel, Hypercolour and Running Back, he has defined a timeless yet futuristic sound — rich in sci-fi atmospheres, glitch-flecked rhythms and widescreen synth narratives. Cinematic and deeply conceptual, SDC’s music channels a lifelong fascination with film scores and speculative futures. First fully formed in 2008, the project has continually evolved through Hamill’s mastery of tape machines, hardware and analogue synthesis. As a DJ, Space Dimension Controller resists predictability, resetting the room and carving his own path. Best experienced in intimate, dark spaces, his sets unfold as fluid journeys — gliding through 80s electronics, disco, house, acid, electro and IDM, with tempos rising and moods shifting in smooth, immersive fashion.
