A hands-on workshop for anyone with bisque-fired work ready to glaze to cone 6. By the end of this course, students will have glazed pieces ready for the final firing and feel more confident selecting and applying glazes. The tutor, Luke Ford, is an accomplished ceramic artist and educator with a deep passion for pottery.

Calling for entries to the Textiles & 3D Exhibition. This exhibition will run from Friday 24th April to Sunday 14th June 2026. Members may also submit up to 2 artworks to be hung in the Members Gallery at the same time as the Exhibition. Entries close online: Opening night:

Discover the enjoyable art of Pen and Wash. Col South is an accomplished artist and has been a tutor with the Woolgoolga Art Gallery for many years. The classes are casual and relaxing. You will learn a variety of styles, painting techniques and skills to further your knowledge of this medium. Col supplies the paper for each project, a drawing pen and pencils on the day.

Dive into the world of art and explore the potential of various mediums such as Graphite, Charcoal, Pastel, Watercolour, Acrylic Painting and more! Each week you will be introduced to a new art medium and shown how to use the materials supplied by the teacher. You will then be guided and coached through the artwork creation process. By the end of this course students will: REQUIRED MATERIALS ALL ART MATERIALS INCLUDED! Just bring along an A3 plastic display folder to store your work and an A4 paper pad or sketchbook to experiment in.

An experimental art class where you explore Drawing with Charcoal, Graphite, Pastels, Colour Pencils, Markers & MORE! By the end of this course students will be introduced to various art mediums and learn how to use the materials supplied by the teacher. All art materials are included, and students are required to bring an A3 plastic display folder and an A4 paper pad or sketch book.

Whether you’ve always wanted to try your hand at painting or you’re keen to build confidence and technique, you’ll get plenty of guidance, demos, and one-on-one support so you can finish the term with a painting you’re proud of.
Create a series of small ceramic sculptures that reflect your imagination and personal style. In this course, students will explore handbuilding techniques to form expressive clay pieces on a small scale. Using core handbuilding techniques, you’ll experiment with shape, texture, and surface to develop unique sculptural forms. Working small allows freedom to try ideas, refine details, and build confidence with clay. Whether playful, abstract, or representational, this class invites curiosity, experimentation, and creative exploration.
