Find the best art events and make the most of your time in Wangaratta. From education to technology and more, we have the biggest event range and best discovery experience, there's something for everyone.

This Friday, 10th of April at The railyard (60 Norton st, wangeratta), join Canvas and Friends for a fun, feel-good Paint & Sip! From 6pm–9pm, you’ll be guided through painting a vibrant sparkler-inspired artwork on your own canvas, a playful piece full of movement, light, and colour. Kick things off with a complimentary drink and settle into a lively evening filled with colour, laughter, music, and creative chaos (the good kind). All materials are provided. Just bring your friends, your curiosity, and a willingness to play! Warning: side effects may include sore cheeks from smiling and a masterpiece you’ll proudly take home. P.S. Flying solo? Individuals are absolutely welcome too!

Join us for a creative junk journaling session! Bring your own ephemera, photos, scraps, and “junk” to transform into beautiful, personalized pages. For ages 12-25.

Bring the whole family along to this air dry clay workshop, challenging your combined imagination and inventiveness in creating a series of mini sculptures that take their cue from the artworks in the exhibition. Your task is to make a series of everyday objects and combine them in such a way as to create a new story or function for them. The items you choose to combine can be human made or natural. The limit is only your imagination!

Join us for a talk by artist Carly Fischer before the opening of her exhibition Ruins in Reverse

Join bestselling Australian author, Victoria Purman, as she celebrates the release of her novel, The Marriage Trap.

Whether you’re a seasoned Picasso or can barely draw a stick figure after two wines, you’re in safe (and slightly sassy) hands. We’ll guide you step-by-step through creating our fabulously cheeky artwork topped off with a glitter-paint coating on your artworks heels — all while you sip, giggle and enjoy live drag performances throughout the night.
