Our bus departs at 8am promptly, arriving at Blue Lotus Water Garden around 10am, in time for morning tea (inc). Next is Kuranga Native Nursery where we'll have lunch (inc) with time to walk the nursery and perhaps make some purchases. On the return trip, we'll make a stop at Yamina Rare Plants Nursery for more inspiration, arriving home around 5pm. As usual, pack your hat and sunscreen, wear comfortable walking shoes and bring a carry bag for your purchases! Note: Extreme heat / fire risk will be assessed closer the date.
Documenting trees visually as a scientific record and garnering interest in their conservation. Trees provide intriguing yet challenging photographic subjects. This highly interactive workshop combines theory, critique, practical sessions and fieldwork to assist participants to improve both their technical and creative skills. Suitable for arborists, park managers, landscape architects, conservationists, Landcarers, botanists, ecologists, and anybody who is interested in or loves trees! The workshop is presented by professional environmental photographer, author and ecologist, Dr Alison Pouliot.
