Spice Journey is a two-hour cooking session that explores how spices are used across different food traditions through the key techniques of toasting, grinding, and blooming. Participants learn how these methods unlock aroma, depth, balance, and how they can be applied to create flavorful and well-rounded dishes at home. Participants will prepare a chicken curry featuring roasted and ground spices, served with spiced rice and a fresh herb-based condiment. The class concludes with a shared lunch, where participants sit down together to enjoy the dishes we have prepared and provides time for discussion, reflection, and questions. By the end of the class, participants will leave with practical, transferable spice techniques, increased confidence using spices in everyday cooking, and a deeper understanding of how flavor is built across global cuisines.
