What's On in Lorne

As part of National Reconciliation Week, we will be hosting John Clarke to speak about reconciliation and treaty. The event will be held at the Lorne Lawn Bowls Club. John Clarke is a GunditjMara/Eastern Maar & Wadawurrung man. John is the General Manager, Cultural Landscapes at Eastern Maar Aboriginal Corporation. John will explore how Treaty can help turn the idea of reconciliation into tangible, lasting action. He will discuss how Treaty has the potential to move beyond symbolism by creating real structures for decision-making, accountability, and long-term change that are defined by and for community
