Find the best environment events and make the most of your time in Koo Wee Rup. From sports to environment and more, we have the biggest event range and best discovery experience, there's something for everyone.

Join us for an engaging conversation exploring what a changing climate means for our coastal landscapes, livelihoods and local communities. Hosted by Conservation Science Manager from the Western port Biosphere Foundation Stephen Brend, this online forum brings together a panel of trusted voices including Gidja Walker OAM, Dr Greg Holland and a local case study, each offering a unique perspective—from climate science and local impacts to practical, on-ground action. Together, we’ll unpack what we know about future conditions, including sea level rise, and what this could look like across the Cardinia and broader Western Port region. Importantly, the discussion will focus on real-world responses—highlighting how nature-positive approaches can support productive agriculture, strengthen local economies, and build resilience across our coastlines. Hear directly from those working in the landscape, including a local farming collective sharing their experience navigating change—what’s working, what’s challenging, and what comes next. The session will conclude with an open Q&A, creating space for shared insights, questions and ideas from the community. This is a chance to connect, learn and be part of a practical conversation about shaping a future-ready landscape.
