What's On in Kinglake

Our two-day Stone Masonry and Rock Wall Building workshop will take place at 'Kinship' Victoria's first Earthship Biotecture house and example of bushfire-resilient (Pyrotecture-Terratecture) design. The workshop will be a hands-on learning experience with a practicing Stonemason. You'll learn how to select, position and lay foundation stones, mid-level rocks and capstones. You'll learn all of the considerations for building a retaining wall. Accommodation is provided for Saturday night with lunch and dinner provided on Saturday and breakfast and lunch on Sunday. Enjoy all of the wildlife synonymous with the sclerophyll rainforest and the lookouts and waterfalls. In the evening you'll have the fire pit will be glowing in front of you and the Milky Way shimmering above. We recommend you bring sturdy boots and gloves.
