Reflexology course covering skeletal system points, focusing on feet, hands, and body zones to support balance, posture, and natural healing

This is a hands-on, practical education session for Therapists focused on confident assessment and prescription of bathroom assistive technology.
NDIS Community Expo in Geelong connecting participants, providers & healthcare to explore supports, services & build stronger networks.

In reflexology, we work on the principle that specific areas of the feet reflect corresponding parts of the body, including the skeletal system. By applying pressure to these reflex points, we aim to support natural healing, improve circulation, and encourage balance. For skeletal conditions, treatment focuses on key reflex zones. For arthritis, reflexologists work along the spine, joint areas (toes, ankles), and lymphatic reflexes to help reduce stiffness and support inflammation management. In cases of gout, attention is given to the big toe joint (linked to the head and neck but also commonly affected), as well as kidney and lymph reflexes to support waste elimination. Hallux valgus (bunions) is addressed locally at the big toe joint and surrounding foot reflexes to ease discomfort and improve alignment. Osteoporosis treatment focuses on the spine reflex (medial edge of the foot) and endocrine glands, especially those linked to calcium balance. Stress is treated by working the diaphragm line, solar plexus (center of the foot), and head/brain reflexes (toes), promoting deep relaxation.
A free, welcoming one-day event for unpaid carers living in regional Victoria. Join us for a lively day of connection, creativity, and feel-good moments at our Roving Respite event in Armstrong Creek! This relaxed community day is all about giving carers a chance to step away from the daily routine, meet others who truly understand the caring journey, and dive into activities that spark joy, boost wellbeing, and build confidence.
