A gentle, sensory-aware workshop exploring how candles can support calm, regulation, and autistic wellbeing. This workshop offers a calm, inclusive introduction to how candles can be used as a supportive sensory tool for autistic wellbeing. Led by Ambilite Candle Co., the session draws on lived experience, sensory awareness, and practical knowledge to explore how light, scent, and routine can contribute to regulation, comfort, and emotional grounding. Attendees can expect a gentle, low-pressure environment with clear explanations of how different fragrances, wax types, and flame qualities may affect sensory processing. The workshop also covers safe and intentional candle use, sensory consent, and how to adapt candle practices for homes, classrooms, and support settings. Designed for autistic adults, parents, educators, and support workers, this session prioritises respect, choice, and accessibility. Whether you are curious, learning, or seeking new sensory tools, you’ll leave with a deeper understanding and practical ideas you can apply in a way that feels right for you.
