The Being LGBTIQA+ Inclusive session engages participants through interactive activities designed to build understanding of inclusivity. This session, delivered in partnership with Business and Employment Southeast Tasmania, is a standard training package for organizations, employees, and others to effectively embed LGBTIQA+ inclusive terminology and promote respectful behaviors. Throughout the session we will discuss: Unpacking gender, sex, and sexuality identities – definitions and terminology, Pronouns and misgendering, State and Federal anti-discrimination laws relating to gender, sex, and sexuality, Everyday experiences of stigma, discrimination, and isolation and their impacts, Key strategies for being inclusive.
