Children aged 5 to 12 will enjoy a creative artmaking morning at Tasman Neighbourhood House. A program of fun art experiences, with the freedom to explore their imagination and enjoy creative expression through a range of drawing and printing activities. Activities: Drawing, painting, monoprinting, bugs, butterflies & dragonflies, dragons & unicorns. Children will take home their own artworks. Friendly and supportive environment. Please bring a food snack and drink for break at 11 am. Parents don’t need to stay but must provide email and phone contact details prior to attending. Led by Cherie Menzies, Visual Arts Teacher. Places are limited - early booking is recommended!

A nurturing morning celebrating Mothers Day for all women, inspired by the wonderful work of Dr Clarissa Pinkola Estés — Women Who Run with the Wolves — and it’s designed especially for women who may not consider themselves artists, but who love the idea of exploring mixed media - paint, layers, collage - creating art that is personally meaningful.
