Critically acclaimed British collective Black Country, New Road are thrilled to announce their forthcoming Australia + New Zealand tour, set to take place this summer. The band’s most recent studio album, Forever Howlong, has attracted widespread praise for its recent harmonious reinvention and recorder solos. Released earlier this year via Ninja Tune, Forever Howlong marks a bold transformation for the group. Songwriting and vocal duties now shared amongst band members, give rise to a richly collaborative sound and warm communal spirit. ‘Triumph in the face of adversity’ goes some way to explaining the resulting joy. Described by The Guardian as “a gentler, more bucolic direction” Forever Howlong has made notable chart inroads for the band, revealing new audiences and a revived sense of self. There are few contemporary bands who can do musical reinvention quite as consistently as Black Country, New Road. Arriving in Hobart following their UK, IE, & EU tour, come experience their musical transformation at the Odeon. Multi-platinum UK rock royalty The Darkness are set to make their triumphant return to Australia in February 2026 with an epic run of summer shows in Brisbane, Gold Coast, Newcastle, Wollongong, Sydney, Adelaide, Hobart, Fremantle, Frankston, and Melbourne. Following their massive 2024 Permission To Land 20th anniversary tour, the band are bringing their signature high-voltage energy and outrageous fun back to stages, serving up fan favourites like I Believe In A Thing Called Love and Love Is Only A Feeling, alongside new tracks from their latest album Dreams On Toast, including I Hate Myself and The Longest Kiss. This tour marks the first chance for fans to hear the new songs live. Exploding onto the scene in 2003 with their now-classic debut Permission To Land, The Darkness quickly became one of the UK’s most beloved rock bands, racking up over 1.5 million album sales, a headline set at Reading & Leeds in 2004, and a string of major awards including BRITs, Kerrang!, and an Ivor Novell. The band’s cheeky, spandex-clad anthems changed the face of British rock and continue to capture hearts and a new generation of fans around the world. Their live shows are pure spectacle: soaring falsettos, outrageous outfits, endless guitar solos, and crowds belting out every word.
