Critically acclaimed British collective Black Country, New Road are thrilled to announce their forthcoming Australia + New Zealand tour, set to take place this summer. The band’s most recent studio album, Forever Howlong, has attracted widespread praise for its recent harmonious reinvention and recorder solos. Released earlier this year via Ninja Tune, Forever Howlong marks a bold transformation for the group. Songwriting and vocal duties now shared amongst band members, give rise to a richly collaborative sound and warm communal spirit. ‘Triumph in the face of adversity’ goes some way to explaining the resulting joy. Described by The Guardian as “a gentler, more bucolic direction” Forever Howlong has made notable chart inroads for the band, revealing new audiences and a revived sense of self. There are few contemporary bands who can do musical reinvention quite as consistently as Black Country, New Road. Arriving in Hobart following their UK, IE, & EU tour, come experience their musical transformation at the Odeon. Multi-platinum UK rock royalty The Darkness are set to make their triumphant return to Australia in February 2026 with an epic run of summer shows in Brisbane, Gold Coast, Newcastle, Wollongong, Sydney, Adelaide, Hobart, Fremantle, Frankston, and Melbourne. Following their massive 2024 Permission To Land 20th anniversary tour, the band are bringing their signature high-voltage energy and outrageous fun back to stages, serving up fan favourites like I Believe In A Thing Called Love and Love Is Only A Feeling, alongside new tracks from their latest album Dreams On Toast, including I Hate Myself and The Longest Kiss. This tour marks the first chance for fans to hear the new songs live. Exploding onto the scene in 2003 with their now-classic debut Permission To Land, The Darkness quickly became one of the UK’s most beloved rock bands, racking up over 1.5 million album sales, a headline set at Reading & Leeds in 2004, and a string of major awards including BRITs, Kerrang!, and an Ivor Novell. The band’s cheeky, spandex-clad anthems changed the face of British rock and continue to capture hearts and a new generation of fans around the world. Their live shows are pure spectacle: soaring falsettos, outrageous outfits, endless guitar solos, and crowds belting out every word. Don’t miss your chance to experience it all live in 2026—it’s bold, loud, and gloriously over-the-top fun! A body of work that culls from various styles weaved together into what Massachusetts-based punks A Wilhelm Scream appropriately call “A Wilhelm Sampler,” Lose Your Delusion finds the accomplished rock quintet at its most daring, experimental and cohesive. Recorded at Anchor End Studio in New Bedford, MA and produced by guitarist/vocalist Trevor Reilly and James Whitten, the songs on Lose Your Delusion appeared as somewhat of a mirage for the band over several years during moments where the members of A Wilhelm Scream — Nuno Pereira (vocals), Trevor Reilly (Guitar, Vocals), Jason Milbank (Guitar), Brian Robinson (Bass, Vocals) and Nick Angelini (Drums) — privately went through a slow, rough stretch of uncertainty. This period of time, however, raised the stakes and renewed a strong focus felt during the early days of the band, which was centered around connecting with fans on an emotional level and providing strength to those who found it in the music. Rife with real stories about the people, places and ideas that are important to the band and its history — along with working to permanently lose the distractions that cloud our daily lives — Lose Your Delusion is less about taking the piss and more about throwing bouquets. From the chaotic and experimental shot of punk found in album single “Be One To Know One” that squarely takes aim at anxiety, pain and self doubt to the politically charged “Apocalypse Porn,” the complexity of the album finds the band in unfamiliar territory that was wholeheartedly embraced by each of its five members. “This is our most unapologetically earnest album to date,” said Reilly. “It's our fifth full-length record and it feels like our first in that we feel we have so much more to say and energy to put out into the world. After all these years, A Wilhelm Scream have lived their lives and did whatever they needed to do to get to the point where they could assemble and write the songs that absolutely needed to be written. Each song on Lose Your Delusion is a product of never cutting corners at any point, be it with writing, recording, practice or performance. Providing commentary on the past few years and the toll it’s taken in regards to our collective stress, anxiety, frustration and panic, the album serves as a pillar in the band’s rich and evolving legacy. As a band playing punk rock for over a decade, its members haven’t focused on success or image — it’s the ideal of music coming from an honest place that they strive to be their lasting legacy. Despite operating just below the radar, A Wilhelm Scream have carved out a reputation as one of the best live bands around, bolstered by their staggeringly rich albums of ultra-technical melodic punk rock firestorms. Playing 250+ worldwide shows each year, the band possesses a work ethic that can only be described as “heroic.” “I guess it's because you never know when your new album is gonna be your final album so you really wanna put all ya got into it,” Reilly sums up. “That’s the legacy I want our band to leave behind when all is said and done.” Supports commence 9:00pm

Big lunch is BACK! Melbourne bogan-funk favourites Playlunch are set to bring their nostalgia-packed, good-time-guaranteed live shows across the east coast on a mammoth 29 date run in late 2025 and into 2026. Kicking off with an already sold out show in Belgrave, the Sex Ed Regional Tour will hit headline and festival stages across VIC, TAS, QLD, NSW, WA, and ACT from December through to May. Victorian fans who missed out on the band’s Melbourne shows at 170 Russell, The Leadbeater and their surprise late night sets at The Night Cat will have ample opportunity to catch Playlunch in action throughout the first half of the year, with dates in Warrnambool, Phillip Island, Bendigo, Ballarat, Frankston, Lorne, St Kilda, South Morang, Traralgon, and Barwon Heads. The band will venture back across the country to Western Australia, with dates scheduled on NYE, before heading back in January for performances in Bunbury, Margaret River, and Albany, as well as Queensland stops on the Sunshine Coast and Gold Coast. New South Wales lunchers can catch Playlunch in Byron Bay, Albury, Gosford, Sydney, Newcastle, Avalon Beach, Wollongong, and Archies Creek, and Canberra will be treated to a one-off show. Playlunch are also scheduled to return to Tasmania for Good Gumnuts Festival, plus a headline show in Hobart. The regional run follows Playlunch’s completely sold out headline tour in September, where they played their biggest headline shows to date across the country. Reflecting on the tour and looking to the future, Playlunch say: “It’s been such a wild 3 months since we put out our sophomore album Sex Ed, and the response has been insane. The cap city album tour was absolutely bonkers - we’re still pinching ourselves that all those shows SOLD OUT so quickly (in such MASSIVE venues…what the helly) and the response from people was just wonderful. We also know how many people weren’t able to make it to one of those gigs or missed out on a ticket, SO…… We’re announcing our biggest headline run to date across regional locations around Australia (with a few festivals and special exclusive shows sprinkled in for good measure!). Touring regionally has always been such a big priority for our band since the very start, and getting around to all the people who continue to support us. To be able to keep the Sex Ed train rolling is so special! We’ll be playing a whole heap of the new tracks from the record live for the very first time in these locations (can’t wait to show you!), as well as all the favs from our debut album.” Having just signed with international booking agency Mint Talent Group in North America, don’t sleep on the chance to see Playlunch in action before the rest of the world catches on. “These will be the last Australian shows for quite a while as we are looking to see what the rest of the world has in store for us; so we hope you are able to grab a ticket and make it a night to remember. Everyone is in for an absolute treat, with a show of nonstop dancing and singing across the whole lineups!” Support commences 9:00pm

Everything has a beginning, a middle and an end after some fashion or other; and to THAT end, all things must pass. And so it came to be that Australian Crawl, after its fashion, in February 1986, came to and end. It was a wrap. It was time. A wind-up. A sign-off. A relief. A joy. Funny. Sometimes slightly sad but resolute. A swan-song. A kiss-off; a sign-off; under the belt, on the wagon and headed for the barn. Put to bed, wiped up, wiped out, cleaned up, mopped up, polished and polished off. That was all folks, that was all she ever wrote. Well… Next year, 2026, we celebrate The Fall Of Crawl. So we’re taking the songs out for a COMMEMORATIVE run around the country. It’s everything you know and love, celebrating things been and gone; and how time really does fu*king FLY! ---------------------------------------- ACKNOWLEDGEMENT We acknowledge and respect the Palawa people as the traditional and ongoing owners of the skies, land, and water of Lutruwita.
