Canvases and Cocktails is a celebration of that soul, a unique art event showcasing extraordinary local talent that sits side by side with interstate and international masterpieces, most notably bowls crafted by one of Australia's finest wood turners and a work by a Polish artist dated 1602. 100 art items. And it's all in the name of an incredible cause. Mine Watch Meander Valley Inc. is a grassroots community organisation fighting to ensure the valley's spectacular natural environment, its social fabric and its statewide, national and international tourism appeal are protected from unsustainable and destructive development. With one project in the pipeline, numerous other companies have their eyes firmly focused on the valley for its critical mineral resources. By attending Canvases and Cocktails, you will be helping protect an entire community - its people, wildlife, waterways and bushland - everything that makes this place special.
