Environment Events in Killarney

In this workshop you will be learning about the plight of the Glossy Black Cockatoo (GBC) and how to identify and locate breeding pairs. You will also learn about how the Bunyas to Border project is aiming to help them persist in the landscape. There is little information around nesting GBCs on the mainland, this project will look to find preferences in artificial hollows and teach local landholders on finding elusive nesting sites. There will be additional trainings for Landcare members to participate in this process.
