Education Events in Wilberforce

A permaculture based gardening and farm education program for children aged 4-17 years. Step into the boots of a young farmer and discover the flavours and fun of life on the farm. In this hands-on 3-hour workshop, kids will: Milk a goat and learn about raw and pasteurized milk, Make fresh ricotta cheese from scratch, Harvest pizza toppings from our farm, Make a pizza with our cheese and toppings to enjoy together, Groom and feed our snuggly goats including our baby goats & cuddle our friendly chickens, ducks and quails, Collect the eggs, Tend to our adorable bunnies and make a forage basket to feed them, Learn real farm skills in a relaxed, playful way, Enjoy time outdoors, meet our animals, taste farm-fresh snacks and learn farming skills.
