Join us for our April meet-up. Are you a bookworm? Just can’t put a good story down? Do you tell anyone and everyone about your latest great read? Our kids Book Club Inklings is for you. Come along and chat about a book you've read recently. This month, our reading guide (chosen by members) was to try and read something 'scary but cool' to talk about. Activities, discussion and afternoon tea await you at our gathering, where you can meet other keen readers.
Get ready to dive deep into the world of Dulux Avista in this 2-day hands-on training course, covering contents from Essentials 01 & 02. This course provides a no-risk environment to develop your knowledge and application skills of the Dulux Avista Concrete Repair & Concrete Resurfacing Systems. It will introduce key products to prepare & repair concrete prior to resurfacing and sealing. The course will cover popular forms of concrete, how to identify potential issues and how to treat them, all of which will help in providing your customers with a durable and aesthetically pleasing result.
We will be planting a garden of winter vegetables. Join us for a school holiday activity in the brisk autumn air as we plant a garden of winter vegetables in the Library Garden. This is fun but it could get messy, so wear old clothes! This activity is designed for children aged 8 and over.

In this story time session designed for the whole family, we’ll discover inspirational stories of pioneering scientists and tales of looking after our environment. After a few stories, we’ll get making a craft so you can take a bit of this session home with you. This free session is a great opportunity for a laid-back exploration of our exhibitions. Children can sit or explore while they listen to stories read by our Museum educators. This session is open to families of all ages. All children must be accompanied by an adult carer.

Orange City Council is proud to sponsor a FREE beeswax wrap making workshop for Orange residents this April! Join Orange Eco and our waste education partners at EnviroCom Australia to get practical tips and tools to reduce waste in your household. Beeswax wraps are an important and crafty way to reduce single use plastic consumption - plus they look and smell terrific!
