Celebrate Youth Week 2026 with Narrabri & District Community Aid Service (NDCAS) and Narrabri Shire Council. You can choose to watch 'Hopper' screening at 10:30am OR 'The Super Mario Galaxy Movie' screening at 11:00am. Each ticket includes a medium popcorn and drink. Transport is available for Youth living in Wee Waa Boggabri or Baan Baa. All Bus' will depart Narrabri at approximately 1pm. This event is free, although booking is essential. Recommended age for attendance is 12-24 years.

Join us for the second year for an in-field paddock walk event to learn about the University of Sydney’s Landscape Rehydration Project’s journey on Mulgate Creek. For those who joined us last year, we will be exploring a second site and discussing scientific results from the past 3 years. Come along to hear updates on the progress of the project to provide a holistic understanding of the way landscape rehydration can assist with challenging changing conditions being faced by farmers. The Landscape Rehydration team, led by Hydrologist Prof Willem Vervoort and research collaborators will give talks about: Project overview, philosophy, and field water balance Soil health and monitoring Pasture and animal production Challenges and future outlook
