Find the best art events and make the most of your time next 30-days in Moruya. From education to nightlife and more, we have the biggest event range and best discovery experience, there's something for everyone.
Teens ages 12-20 are invited to join this workshop to create art pieces for display at the Currents Band Comp. Bring your creative skills and help create illuminated installations, stencil art, and glowing decorations to communicate this year’s Youth Week theme, “Dream, Dare, Do”. Then see your work on display at the Band Comp on Saturday, 18 April.
Spend a creative day at Glennos House learning the foundations of abstract painting in a relaxed and supportive environment.
Practice your life drawing skills. Keen to improve your Life Drawing Skills? Come along to The BAS workshop, the first Saturday of the month and hone your skills. Bring your sketchbook, some charcoal, pencils, or ink and have fun drawing the most fascinating and complex subject matter, the human body. Note: Some basic drawing experience required. This is not an art class but an opportunity to practice drawing from a model both nude and clothed.

A playful workshop where mums and kids share one canvas and create a whimsical painting together. Celebrate Mother’s Day in a creative and meaningful way by painting together. In this special mother and child workshop, each pair will work on one large canvas together, taking turns adding brushstrokes, marks, colours and textures to slowly build a whimsical painting created by both of you. Throughout the session you’ll be guided through simple, beginner-friendly painting techniques that are playful, expressive and surprisingly effective. These techniques are easy for kids to enjoy while also allowing adults to relax, experiment and let go of perfection. By the end of the workshop you’ll leave with a large collaborative painting filled with colour, texture and memories of making something together.
