Education Events in Jindabyne

Get the kids gardening and hunting Easter eggs! The famous pumpkin grower of Jindabyne will be co-hosting this learning experience with the Garlic King. It will be a fun interactive learning workshop that will encourage children to grow more garlic in the garden and eat more of the healthy and hearty vegetable. What will the kids learn and discover at this workshop? That not all garlic is the same, when to plant, what do they need to do before planting, how to plant with an interactive planting in the garden, how to care for their garlic while it is growing, what they need to look out for around harvest period, and what they will need to do once they harvest their garlic. After the fun garlic learning workshop, the kids will go on an Easter egg hunt...and there may be some garlic bulbs to find too.
