Garrallan is a 690ha property on the Gilari(Lachlan river) with 80ha designated as Biodiversity Conservation Trust including all our river frontage. Marion, farm operator is looking for volunteers to help plant 300 tubes from Greening Australia and about 200 tubes from Weddin Nursey in the ground for the 2026 season.

Whether you're a seasoned pro or just starting out, this event is perfect for young people who want to spend some holiday time on a relaxing hobby. Expert guidance will be provided by our friends from Cowra Library's Yarn Whisperers. Grab a friend and join us for a fun morning of crochet! This workshop is part of the 2026 Cowra Youth Week program and is suitable for young people in Years 6 & above (or equivalent age). FREE registration includes all materials, morning tea and a take home crochet kit.
From the Renaissance to Romanticism is an art history lecture series that will take place in 2026 with Peter Haynes. The first lecture, 'The Renaissance I: Beginnings and Development in Italy,' will focus on the origins and growth of the Renaissance in Italy. This is a free event.

Drop in anytime during 6pm to 8pm. Pencils, graphite, paper and sketch books can be taken into the gallery. The Nguluway Room will be open to make a cuppa and chat with other art lovers. Basic materials will be provided but you are welcome to bring your own journals and materials. No experience is required. All abilities and ages are welcome.
