Playing with Pochoir using stencils on acetate. This workshop is ideal for new members as well as those more experienced. In this workshop we will explore the use of Pochoir. Many artists including Picasso employed this technique to create monotypes. We will explore the use of stencils and masks, how an acetate plate is inked and how to use the press correctly for this technique. You will create your stencils and then develop your unique artworks. You will be provided with: an acetate A4 plate, old x-rays to create stencils and masks, 2 x sheets of quality printmaking paper. Inks and brayers will be available for use. Morning tea will be provided.

Art Masterclass is a premier, boutique art Studio, offering a mix of traditional craft pop-up classes in Central Coast. Unleash your artistic potential at Art Masterclass in Central Coast! In this 2.5-hour beginner class you will have fun by painting traditional ceramic bowls. The techniques that are used in the process date back to the 8th century. All the necessary materials will be provided in the session. At the end of the session, you will get to take your finished project with you. Join us at Art Masterclass, either alone or with friends, and leave with a creative masterpiece.
Join us for a hands-on workshop, learning painting & finishing techniques to up-cycle your own furniture. The workshop covers painting & stencilling, clear wax finish, wax effects & gilding waxes. We provide everything you need, including aprons and refreshments.
CCPS COURSE IN CLAY for Beginners to Intermediate with Lynn Treers for 8 weeks. Students will gain experience in wedging clay, centring clay on the wheel and throwing simple forms. Each student's best pieces will be selected each week for firing. Basic glazing and firing will be discussed, along with the use of slips, underglazes, decals, surface treatment and pot alteration.
