Come join us for a two-week adventure through the magical world of Dungeons and Dragons. Are you looking to grow your experience playing Dungeons and Dragons? Looking for a friendly group of young people to hang out with while going on epic adventures in faraway lands to engage in quests both individually and as a team? Over the two-week campaign our experienced Dungeon Master will guide you through the basics of character creation, combat, and storytelling. You'll get to meet other players and explore the fascinating world of D&D. Don't worry if you've never played before - all you need to bring is your imagination and a sense of adventure! This event is suitable for ages 12-16 years. Cost: $30+booking fee (For the two-week course). Please BYO snacks and drinks. The campaign will begin Sunday 12 April, and continue Sunday 19 April, 10.30am-1.30pm at Sugar Valley Library Museum.
MotoStars will run a Ride Day at the Cameron Park Kart Track, on Wednesday 15th of April! Open to Juniors, MiniGP, Groms, R15's, R3's, 300 Supersport Riders, Supermoto Riders, Recreational Riders- almost anyone with a motorbike! Gates open at 8.30am. Riding starts from 10.00am- runs till 3.30pm.

A one-hour talk on West Wallsend and local soldiers who were involved in the Tunnelling Companies during WWI. The presentation discusses local miners who were specifically recruited to be involved in Tunnelling Operations on the Western Front. The talk will be presented by Lynn Hart from the West Wallsend District Heritage Group. During this talk discover the story of local miners who took their skills from the coal seams of the local region to the battlefields of the Western Front. The presentation will include a particular focus on the Battle of Messines and Hill 60, where underground warfare reshaped the battlefield and changed the course of the war. Through the exploration of local and personal stories, gain a deeper understanding of how our region was involved in the Great War.

Over three fun weeks, an experienced DM will guide you through the tips, tricks, and storytelling secrets you need to confidently run your own D&D games for friends and family. Learn how to build worlds, create NPCs, shape exciting quests, and keep your players engaged. Step into the DM’s chair and start crafting your own adventures! Suitable for ages 15+.
