BATHURST'S ONCE A MONTH DANCE NIGHT FOR PEOPLE WITH DIFFERENT ABILITIES
The Bathurst campus screening of the Queer Screen Film Festival will kick-start the 2026 Bathurst Pride 'n Stride event, a three-day celebration of diversity, inclusion and pride across the Bathurst community, with local drag queen extraordinaire Betty Confetti to MC this year's event. For the fourth year running, the Bathurst campus will host the event at the Ponton Theatre, showcasing a range of the best entries into the 2026 Mardi Gras Film Festival, proudly brought to you by Queer Screen. The screening will be held from 6pm on Thursday, April 16 and conclude around 8.30pm. With eight fantastic LGBTQIA+ films to be shown, the screening is an ideal event not only for members of the LGBTQIA+ community, but for cinema lovers as well! Tickets include: 8 Short Films, Come dressed in your finest 'Pride' threads - best dressed will earn a prize!, Welcome Drink & Snacks. Tickets are $15 each [drink included in cost]. This is a MA15+ event.
