Environment Events in Launceston

Join us from 15 - 17 May 2026 for the 2026 Keep Australia Beautiful Australian Tidy Town Awards, proudly hosted by our 2025 national Tidy Towns winner - Launceston. Set at the meeting point of the North Esk, South Esk and Tamar Rivers, Launceston is a vibrant, walkable city known for its rich heritage, creative community and outstanding food and wine. At its heart is the iconic Cataract Gorge, a spectacular natural landmark and much-loved gathering place. This year’s Awards will celebrate the achievements of our state finalists, share inspiration from across the country, and recognise the communities leading the way in environmental stewardship and local pride.
