Education Events in Bairnsdale

The Movember Ahead of the Game Parents & Coaches program delivered by Liminal Wellbeing. As part of Bairnsdale JFC & FNC's involvement in the Movember Ahead of the Game program – a free mental health and resilience program presented by the AFL. Our U14, U/15, U16s & U18s players have taken part in two sessions, one centered on mental health literacy and the other on resilience. As an extension to the mental health literacy program, the program includes a session to further educate parents as the 'No.1 Supporters' of our young players. The 50-minute session will reflect the learnings of the first player's workshop which discusses mental health literacy, sources of support, and the signs and symptoms of anxiety and depression in young people.
